Main Street Books Sweet 16!

Saturday, March 19th    10:00 am—6:00 pm
Saturday is the big day. It is our 16 year Anniversary Celebration. We will have a big sale with 16% off all items in the store. I think if you figured in the publisher price increases on books in the last 16 years we would be at least matching prices from the year we opened.
We are going to party with our prices like it’s 2006–whatever that means because in my life there wasn’t a lot of partying going on in 2006. I had sunk my life savings into the promise and the hope that people in Minot would support an Indie Bookstore. Which wasn’t much — life savings, that is. But hey Minot — you do read. Thanks for doing that!
We sincerely hope you come see us because that would be really sweet (sixteen). Go ahead and stock up on some books and gifts to help get you through the summer and grab a free book from our free book table while you are here. Don’t forget the carrot cake– a Main Street Books anniversary tradition.
Hope you have a happy March. Good luck Class B Schools (Bishop Ryan, in particular) and we will see you soon. Keep reading Minot and we will keep the Carrot cake coming — year after year after year.

Main Street Books

Established in 2006, we are Minot's locally-owned, independent bookstore that specializes in new books, educational toys, and fun and quirky sidelines. We also boast a new event space with a resident artist featuring original framed art, notebooks, prints, and future bookmaking workshops for kids.

Come on in and see what makes us unique and let us help you find the perfect book for you or that wonderful special person in your life.
